Chilled Semen;

The full stud fee and initial collection fee is payable prior to any semen being collected or shipped. Any further required doses will be subject to a collection fee of £125 which must be paid in full prior to collecting. The shipping container is to be returned to Pottofields Farm immediately, if held longer than 3 working days a daily rate of £10 hire will be charged.  The semen shall only be inseminated into the mare detailed on this form and any remaining disposed of.

Please notify the stud as soon as the mare comes into season and keep updated as to roughly when the semen will be required. Orders for next day delivery need to be made before 10.30am and under normal circumstances will be delivered by 9am next day, Saturday deliveries are extra and Sunday deliveries aren’t currently available unless collection is a possibility. Niart Connemaras holds no responsibility whatsoever for delays or failed semen deliveries due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Semen maybe collected from the stud and the container must be returned within 3 working days. No foal free return stud terms are applicable to the current and following season from the date signed subject to stallion availability.

Service certificates will be sent via recorded delivery at the end of the season on receipt of a positive pregnancy diagnosis from your vet. Service certificates maybe withheld until any outstanding accounts are settled. If lost replacements are available at a cost of £25.

Payment can be made via BACS; account details available below, cheque; funds must be cleared prior to semen collection, or card via Paypal; Paypal payments are subject to a fee set by Paypal.

Residing Mares;

All owners are advised to insure the mare prior to arriving at the stud, although every precaution is taken the mare, foal or any equipment left at the stud at the owners risk. The stud accepts no responsibility for any accident or disease - mares are only accepted on this understanding.

The mare must be accompanied by her passport (copies not acceptable) along with this form, any certificates for CEM or EVA (except those on foaling heat) on arrival. If certificates are not available, the tests can be arranged and the mare will not be covered naturally until a valid certificate is available, not mandatory for AI. If living at grass or for natural cover the mare must arrive unshod or shoes will be removed and charged to the mare owners account. Feet will be trimmed regularly and charged as extra.

We highly advise that all mares are vaccinated for tetanus and flu as mares from various locations can be at stud at any given time, any boosters can be arranged at stud. Service certificates will be sent via recorded delivery at the end of the season, if the mare leaves prior to the heartbeat scan a positive pregnancy diagnosis from your vet will be required and full stud payment to be made before leaving. Service certificates maybe withheld until any outstanding accounts are settled to both the stud and vets. If lost replacements are available at a cost of £25.

All livery fees are charged as separate on a weekly basis and must be paid in full at the end of the mares stay or can be billed on a monthly basis. Any outstanding stud or veterinary accounts that are not settled by 1^st September will forfeit issuing of service certificates or eligibility for free return. In the event that fees go unpaid for more than 3 months from when they were first due horses/possessions maybe sold with 7 days written notice of intent to do so. All monies will be deducted from the monies owed and any remaining returned to the owner within 30 days. The horse and equipment may be held by the stud in lieu of any monies owed and sold in accordance with the above terms.

Some stallions have limited availability therefore it is advised to book early. Payment maybe made via BACS, cheque or paypal, paypal is subject additional fees set by themselves which are to be added per payment. Please allow 7 days for cheques to clear; any returned cheques will incur a £25 admin charge.

Your privacy is very important to us and in line with the General Data Protection Regulation we will not share your information to third party except in order to carry out our services or to run our business and care for your horse. We may need to share your data with other parties such as but not exclusive to; Veterinary surgeons, farrier, physio, passport agencies, transport companies, DEFRA, insurance company, legal entities and police or debt collection agencies.
